San Sebastian
If you travel by car and are looking for a good place to stay, Green Nest Hostel Uba Aterpetxea is highly recommended. We stayed in this hostel and recommend it because you have access to a free car parking space, the rooms are really good, and the hostel is located in the middle of a park so it is really quiet. Within 20 minutes you are in the center by bus. The benefit is the price of this hostel if you consider that if you want to stay in the center it quickly cost €25 per day to just park your car. If you want to stay in the center, La Galería is recommended. This stylish hotel is located on Ondarreta Beach. The building dates from the 19th century, making the atmosphere unique. Due to its location, building, and all facilities, this hotel is highly valued among travelers. Check actual prices and availability here!

Bilbao
Close to the Guggenheim Museum is located Hesperia Bilbao. This modern hotel has beautiful rooms, a very good breakfast, and a roof terrace with a beautiful view of the Guggenheim museum and the river Nervión. Check the current prices and availability here.
If you travel by car and you are looking for a good base, Bilbao Hostel is highly recommended. We stayed here and loved it because you have access to a free parking lot, rooms are neat and breakfast is included. The hostel is located just outside the center, by bus you are in the center in 15 minutes. The big advantage is the price of this hostel if you consider that if you want to stay in the center you quickly pay €25 per day to only park the car. You can check prices and availability here.

Picos de Europa
In Arenas de Cabrales we recommend staying at Hotel La Rivera, this is a family hotel that welcomes you with a big smile. For us, this was the best accommodation we had during our trip through the north of Spain. The rooms are neat, the beds are very good, the breakfast is extensive, it is within walking distance of the main square, but the most important thing is that the owners are very nice. They take the time to explain everything about the area. Be quick with making a reservation because due to its popularity, rooms are fully booked quickly. If hotel La Rivera is fully booked, you can stay at Hotel Los Ángeles which is also located in Arenas de Cabrales.
Sotres is a small village so you have few choices. We recommend Hotel Rural Peña Castil because the atmosphere here is very good, rooms are neat and it has a restaurant so you can easily dine at your accommodation in the evening. You can check prices and availability here.

Oviedo
Close to Oviedo Cathedral, you find Gran Hotel España which is highly recommended to stay! The location is perfect because you are right in the center. The rooms are big and you can enjoy a typical Spanish breakfast in the morning. The hotel is highly appreciated by other travelers. Check current prices and availability here.
If you want to stay in the center and Gran Hotel España is fully booked, Soho Boutique Oviedo is recommended. This hotel is located in an authentic building that is very popular for its luxurious rooms. Check here for availability and prices.
If you travel by car, it is recommended to stay at Hotel Palacio de Asturias. This hotel has a free parking lot. It is located on the edge of the city center. This hotel is less luxurious than the two above, but it is still a great place to stay. An additional advantage when you travel by car is that you quickly pay €25 per day in the center to park the car, you save these costs by staying here. Check here the prices when you travel by car.

Santander
In the Sardinero district 150 meters from the beach, you find Hotel Santemar. The location is perfect because you stay next to the beach. The rooms are big and the kitchen serves typical dishes from Cantabria. The hotel is highly appreciated by other travelers and is a perfect place to discover Santander. Check availability here!
Another great place to stay in the Sardinero district is Gran Hotel Sardinero, this hotel is located 20 meters from the beach. The location of this hotel could not be better because you have a direct view of the sea from your room. This hotel is slightly more luxurious than Santemar but you also need to pay a little more. If you want to stay in the center close to all the bars Abba Santander is recommended. This hotel is located 100 meters from the station which is great if you travel by public transport. The rooms are as you would expect from a hotel. This hotel is perfect if you prefer to be close to bars and Santander’s main attractions. Check availability and prices here.

La Rioja
We stayed at Fuenmayor and recommend this because it is centrally located in the region of La Rioja. Also, this is a wine village where you can immerse yourself completely among the locals.
We stayed at Hostal Labranza and highly recommend it. The rooms are neat and big enough. The beds are wonderful and the facilities are excellent. The owners welcome you with a big smile and do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Even if you arrive in the middle of the night, if you call in advance, this isn’t any problem. The service is perfect. In addition, they can explain a lot about the area which is useful if you are looking for specific information. Check the current prices and availability here.

Zaragoza
We stayed at Hotel Avenida and recommend it. For us, this is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. The hotel is fantastically decorated, when you step inside it seems as if you have entered an oasis of peace. The rooms are also very spacious with comfortable beds. Everything is very stylishly decorated. In addition, it is right in the center, so you have everything within reach, which is a big benefit! This hotel is also very nice for people who travel by car because they have a price agreement with the parking garage in front of the hotel, for only €15 per night you can park the car in front of the hotel. Fun fact: if you are traveling with a dog, this is no problem at all. These are allowed here. However, there may be additional costs involved. Check prices and availability here!

Ordesa National Park
We stayed in Hotel de Montaña El Mirador which is located in Broto. We recommend this hotel because you will be welcomed with open arms by the family that runs this hotel. They are always happy to help you with detailed information, the breakfast they serve is very extensive and the location is perfect. The hotel is located on the edge of the village from where you have a magnificent view of the green valley. If you want to relax, this is a perfect place. Finally, the rooms and facilities are more than fine. The beds are comfortable which is important if you are active all day. You can check prices and availability for Hotel de Montaña El Mirador.
If Hotel de Montaña El Mirador is fully booked you can stay at Silken Ordesa. This hotel is located in Torla-Ordesa and has everything to offer if you looking for some luxury. Check current prices and availability here.

Barcelona
We recommend staying at Ona Hotels Mosaic. This hotel is a 5-minute walk from Passeig de Gràcia Metro Station. The hotel is very nicely decorated because it is so colorful. The beds are good and the staff does everything they can to make your stay pleasant. Check the current prices and availability here.
Another recommendation is Hotel Royal Passeig de Gracia. Both hotels are close to each other. The advantage of this hotel is that they have a fantastic roof terrace, a great place to have a drink in the evening. The breakfast is also excellent to start your day.
